About
What
- This site is for a local congregation of people interested in genealogy, also called family history.
- We update the messages once per month on various topics related to family history.
Who

-
Ward Temple & Family History Consultants staff the FamilySearch Center at the local Stake Center building.
- They serve free of charge.
- They provide personalized help on your family history. We help you gather your own genealogy.
- You do NOT need to be a genealogy expert to get started on your own family history.
- They are happy to help if you get stuck or need help with family history.
- The tools available today are WAY better today than 30 years ago.
-
Anyone can visit the FamilySearch centers around the world and use the tools for their own genealogy efforts.
-
We welcome anyone of any faith, and even those who are not associated with a faith.
- People staffing the family search centers typically speak the local language and sometimes other languages.
